Apex Drive
Build the car, pick the driver and take the wheel yourself: cockpit view, no autopilot. Race circuits, run a career, pit for tyres and fight the weather. The full game now runs in your browser.
The full game (Unity, in the browser)
The complete game, built with Unity 6 and running as WebGL. A computer with a keyboard and a recent Chrome, Edge or Firefox. About 25 MB to load the first time.
- Six circuits and a different car for each
- Setup lab and tyre strategy planner
- Fuel load, tyre graining, wind and the real sun
- DRS zones, rewind, camera views, replay
- A race engineer who remembers if you listen
- Pit crews, reliability, facilities, sponsors
In the browser it adjusts its shadows to your graphics card and uses your browser's voices. For the best speed, and online multiplayer, download the Windows app (27 MB). Run ApexDrive-Setup.exe and it installs like any other app, with a desktop shortcut and a Start menu entry. If Windows warns about an unknown publisher, choose More info, then Run anyway. (Do not open the game from inside a zip file.)
The original
The first, lighter version made for the browser. Quick to load and runs on almost anything.
- Garage with a parts shop, livery and race setup
- Four circuits, plus a track editor for your own
- Career, tournament, qualifying, achievements
- Pit stops, DRS, slipstream, weather, safety car
- Three drivers that level up as you race
